History
Faith Haven, Incorporated was organized on March 12, 1968 as a non-profit corporation under the laws of Minnesota with the express purpose of providing safe, affordable housing for low to moderate income elderly persons.
Faith Haven was the vision of a group of dedicated citizens concerned about the availability of housing for the elderly in West Duluth. Construction began in 1970 when financing was secured through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development under section 236. July 1, 1972 the HUD project Faith Haven opened its 124 apartments for occupancy.
